With a right application, the ipad Wireless(Bluetooth) Camera, can take a picture in less than 50 meters away remotely from your ipad. Just like Bluetooth earphone, it's wireless and with a chargeable battery. But it was said that this device is initially for taking picture not yet for video recording.
This ipad2 Wireless(Bluetooth) is a Bluetooth low energy device (BLE). It is a feature of Bluetooth 4.0 wireless radio technology, aimed at new, principally low-power and low-latency, applications for wireless devices within a short range (up to 50 metres / 160 feet -see table below). This facilitates a wide range of applications and smaller form factor devices in the healthcare, fitness, security and home entertainment industries.
