TechPinas Exclusive!
I've just received information from TP's very reliable source that LG Philippines is now preparing to release LG Optimus L3 E400 in the country.
First time to see this phone? Well, LG Optimus L3 is the most affordable model in LG's 2012 L-Series Android smartphone line-up. This is the Korean company's handset for entry-level users as well as budget conscious consumers who don't particularly want all the bells and whistles that come with the more expensive models.
Sure, it's an entry-level release but LG Optimus L3 has its own charms. For one, it looks cute; flaunting a simple yet elegant design and a rather unique 'squarish' form factor. Its technical specifications are also
alright; Users get a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, an 800 MHz processor running Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, 384 MB of RAM, microSD card slot for conveniently expanding the rather measly 1GB internal storage, a 3.15 MegaPixel autofocus camera, QVGA video recorder and a whole gamut of connectivity options including Wifi, Bluetooth and 3G.
Like its more expensive siblings, LG Optimus L3 also supports various applications from Google Play Store including ones for social networking like Facebook for Android, Twitter and TP-Favorite, UberSocial. Using Wifi or 3G connection, you can immediately upload photos you've just taken using the phone to your social networking accounts and update your status message on the go.
Design-wise, "compact" LG Optimus L3 will perhaps be more attractive to girls. But really, I think that shouldn't stop guys - especially those who like cute stuff - from checking it out;
In Europe, LG Optimus L3 E400 dons a price tag of 139 Euros. No word yet from LG Philippines on the phone's official SRP in the country but I'm guessing it will be priced at around Php 8,000 to Php 9,000 when it hits store shelves either late April or early May 2012. (Here's to hoping it will be more affordable than that.) Kindly stay tuned for updates.
Wrapping this up in true TechPinas fashion, I present the complete technical specifications of the ultra-cute LG Optimus L3 E400 --
