As we all know, our Earth surface is consist of 70% of water in synonymous to the percentage of water in our body. Water plays a significant role in our everyday living, water is life-sustaining drink ever since. People use tons and tons of water for cooking and washing and most importantly for drinking every day. And on the other side even for producing things such as food, paper, cotton clothes, etc we used lots of water. As time goes by, hundreds of rivers across our planet gone to waste because of people carelessly throw garbage and water becomes stagnant and useless. It is good know to realize that there are really few communities and non-government agencies caring and reviving these rivers and compensates the effect done by the mankind itself.
A bright child asked me yesterday, “how come we have shortage of water since all the water we got is just came from evaporated rain and condensed and produce it all over again?”, then I replied, “That’s the principle and the nature of producing water, but the climate and weather is changing. Because of human always abuse the nature by putting hectares of factories which produces harsh waste chemical smoke that affects the entire climate system. In return, rain routine will be affected. This scenario is not new in the society and we’ll never know whether there will be rain this afternoon or not.”

Care our body at the same time
We conserve water in proper way as we can but at the same time we should also care about our body which also need clean water. Health authorities have historically suggested drink at least eight glasses, eight fluid ounces each (168 ml), of water per day. In 2006, waterborne diseases were estimated to cause 1.8 million deaths each year while about 1.1 billion people lacked proper drinking water. We still need to be protective about the water we will drink. Water now whether it looks clean or not need to employ proper treatment before drinking or using. And it times like this, we should never ever trust water streaming from falls or any sort. Water is necessary for most life on Earth. Humans can survive for several weeks without food, but for only a few days without water.
So next time
- When you are washing your hands, don't let the water run while you lather.
- Drop your tissue in the trash instead of flushing it and save water every time.
- Adjust your watering schedule each month to match seasonal weather conditions and landscape requirements.
- You add or replace a flower or shrub, choose a low water use plant for year-round landscape color and save up to 550 gallons each year.
- Use a water-efficient showerhead. They're inexpensive, easy to install, and can save you up to 750 gallons a month.
- Put food coloring in your toilet tank. If it seeps into the toilet bowl without flushing, you have a leak. Fixing it can save up to 1,000 gallons a month.
