Audiopad by Apple?

Audiopad by Apple? No no no, definitely No! this thing is apparently not made by apple. This innovation was developed by James Patten and Ben Recht aka localfields. So now, what is this buzz  is all about

"Audiopad is a composition and performance instrument for electronic music which tracks the positions of objects on a tabletop surface and converts their motion into music."-  localfields

Let's take an example from juxtapose archived recordings against warm synthetic melodies, snap your finger along with bass guitar to create new beats, and apply digital processing all at the same time on the same table. Audiopad is not just  producing unexpected reinterpretation of musical compositions, but it can also create visual and tactile dialogue between itself, the performer, and the audience.

Audiopad has an array of antenna parameters which passage the positions of electronically tracked objects on a tabletop surface. The audiopad Software transform the position data into music and graphical representation on the tabletop. Every object embody either a musical track or a microphone.
