NBC will celebrate the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree once again with a live broadcast from Rockefeller Center in New York City on Tuesday, November 30 (8-9 p.m. ET/PT). The star-studded holiday special will feature performances by Susan Boyle, Mariah Carey, Charice, Sheryl Crow, Jackie Evancho, Josh Groban, Katherine Jenkins, Annie Lennox, Kylie Minogue, Jessica Simpson and The Radio City Rockettes with a mix of current hits and holiday classics. Charice will set to sing a holiday classic "The Christmas Song".
The 78th annual holiday extravaganza will light a tree that is 74 feet high, 40 feet in diameter and weighs a whopping 12 tons. It will be lit for the first time on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 with live and taped performances from 7 P.M. - 9 P.M., at Rockefeller Plaza, between West 48th & West 51st Streets and 5th and 6th Avenues, Manhattan.
