According to our trusted and valued TP source (who vehemently refuses to be named), Nokia is all set to release Nokia Lumia 710 - its first midrange Windows Phone 7 handset - in the Philippines by as early as January 2012! The price tag, he said, will be roughly Php 15,000, which is already very affordable for a smartphone of its caliber.  He also told us that Nokia - in partnership with Microsoft - will spend heavily on the promotion of its new Windows Phone handsets. "2012 will be the year of Nokia Windows Phones. There's a Nokia Windows Phone to be announced in June that will replace Nokia N8 as the best cameraphone on the planet," he promised me. Wow. 2012 should be an exciting year for Nokia.
