Extreme Tornadoes Are Tossing 18-Wheelers Up in the Air in Dallas—Updating Live

Extreme Tornadoes Are Tossing 18-Wheelers Up in the Air in Dallas—Updating LiveThose things flying are tractor trailers, lifted several feet up in the air by the extremely strong tornadoes in Dallas County, Texas. It's an emergency situation down there right now, and it seems it's not going to stop any time soon.

The storm is now in southwest Arlington and moving northeast. It seems that it will spare downtown Dallas, but it's wrecking everything on its path right now. Reportedly, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is in the path of the tornado and there are now 30 minutes delays according to the FAA.

According to the National Weather Service, Metroplex and North Texas is now under a Tornado Watch until 8:00pm. Here's the latest report:

AT 200 PM CDT...STORM SPOTTERS AND DOPPLER RADAR OBSERVED A TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED 3 MILES SOUTH OF EULESS...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. EULESS...IRVING AND DFW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ARE IN THE DIRECT PATH OF THIS TORNADO! IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY!

THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
EULESS AROUND 205 PM CDT...
IRVING AROUND 210 PM CDT...
COPPELL...GRAPEVINE AND CARROLLTON AROUND 215 PM CDT...

There are no reports of deaths yet, but the damage is pretty bad so far.

If you are in the path of the storm, remember to:

2. Move to an interior room in the lowest floor of a sturdy building.

3. Avoid windows.

4. Don't go outside or drive vehicles.

5. Don't use overpasses as tornado shelters. You may die.

Aaron Steger reports "he is at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine/Dallas. We've been moved to the underground tunnels below the hotel." If you are in the path of the storm, find cover now.

Brennon Rankin reports from Dallas near 635 and I-30: "It was raining hard but then it just stopped, got colder, then a literal wall of rain came toward the building I am in. We are now in the old bomb shelter."

2:32CDT: David Weber reports from Ballpark and the Cowboys stadium. He says the tornado has missed this area and the stadium is fine. He says that "nother huge cell is coming. This is abnormally severe weather..."

2:44CDT: Aaron Steger reports: "We're now being allowed to come above ground at the Gaylord Texan."

2:44CDT: Commenter Jesse Scroggins reports: "I work in Irving, and a supercell formation just moved passed us. We had some hail, and most of it was slightly west of us heading north through to Lewisville and now Denton. More thunderstorms are headed this way too."

2:47CDT: Reader Jorge Valdez reports that "it's not getting better... We've had a tornado drill here at school, and after-school activities have been canceled..."

2:48CDT: Nicole E Horn tell us about her situation: "I am a Garland school teacher. We are in tornado shelter mode in Garland Texas at 245 pm in the middle of the storm. We have reports of fist sized hail and torrential rain."

2:59CDT Reader Edna Parra is also at the Gaylord Texan "and had to stay in the tub with my laptop. Seems to be passing and moving to Grand Prairie and Bedford."
